Do I need a license to rent a scooter in Pattaya?
To legally ride in Thailand you need a national license with category “A” and an International Driving Permit (IDP). We rent with just a passport copy, but riding without a proper license is at your own risk — the police fine is up to 1,000 baht.
What deposit is required?
We sign a rental contract and take a cash deposit: 2,000 THB for standard models and 5,000 THB for bikes over 300cc. We never keep your original passport — a copy is enough. The deposit is fully refunded when the bike is returned in good condition.
Do you deliver bikes across Pattaya?
Yes — we deliver to any area: Jomtien, Pratumnak, City Center, Naklua and beyond. The fee depends on distance: within 3 km — 100 THB, further by rate. To order delivery, just send us your address, bike model, rental period and a photo of your passport via WhatsApp.
Is insurance included in the price?
Yes, every bike is insured with coverage up to 30,000 THB for medical treatment in case of an accident. Insurance does not cover damage to the bike itself, theft or deliberate damage — that is the renter's responsibility. Helmets and a lock are free.
What is the minimum age to rent?
The minimum age is 18. For bikes over 300cc we recommend real riding experience — for your own safety.
How do payment and paperwork work?
Paperwork takes 10 minutes: passport copy, contract, deposit — and you ride. Pay in cash (baht), by transfer to a Thai account, or another convenient way. The longer the rental, the lower the daily rate; monthly rentals get special prices.
