Bang Saray is where the Pattaya coast stops being a resort and becomes a working fishing village again. It sits roughly 15 km south of central Pattaya along Sukhumvit, about 20 km by road, and it is the point where the long chain of Na Jomtien beaches finally ends. The bay is calm and shallow, the boats are real, the seafood restaurants stand on stilts over the water, and by eight in the evening the whole place is quiet.
Between the two lies Na Jomtien — a 10–12 km ribbon of coast south of Jomtien proper, reached from Sukhumvit by the numbered sois: Na Jomtien Soi 8 past the Pinnacle, Soi Glass House, Soi 12, Soi Than Nam Chai. This is condominium and long-stay territory: quiet, spread out, and almost impossible to live in without your own wheels. Songthaews thin out fast the further south you go, and a taxi from Bang Saray to Pattaya costs more than several days of scooter rental.
That is the whole argument for renting here. Our nearest office is in Pratumnak, on Pattaya Park Rd — about 20 minutes from Na Jomtien and 30–40 minutes from Bang Saray, depending on the Sukhumvit traffic. We are open daily 10:00–20:00, paperwork takes 10 minutes and we need only your passport: we make a copy and the original stays with you. Bang Saray sits outside the city limits, so if you want the bike delivered, agree it with the manager in advance — both the price and the possibility depend on the exact address.

This is the one part of the Pattaya area where we genuinely advise against the cheapest 110cc. Everything here is measured in tens of kilometres, and most of those kilometres are on Sukhumvit, where pickups and coaches cruise at 80–90 km/h. A small engine is not dangerous in itself, but a bike that runs out of breath while you are overtaking is.
Every bike comes with two helmets and we stay in touch for the whole rental. Cash deposit: 2 000 ฿ up to 160cc, 5 000 ฿ for 300–350cc. Bikes are new and serviced; if one breaks we replace it.
After central Pattaya, parking here feels like a different country: there is space almost everywhere, and almost all of it is free.

There are two ways south and they are completely different rides. Sukhumvit (Highway 3) is fast, four lanes each way in places, with frontage service lanes on both sides. Ride in the left-hand service lane where there is one: that is where scooters belong, and it keeps you out of the way of the trucks. The real hazard is the U-turn — instead of left turns, Sukhumvit uses U-turn bays, and traffic crosses the whole carriageway to reach them. Slow down and look twice at every one.
The coastal road through Na Jomtien is the alternative: slower, narrower, far prettier, with villages, restaurants and speed bumps. It loses time and gains everything else, so take Sukhumvit when you are in a hurry and the coast road when you are not.
Two more local details. First, the sois off Sukhumvit into Na Jomtien are long, unlit at night and often have dogs — ride them slowly after dark. Second, rain: this stretch is exposed, tropical downpours come fast, and the painted road markings on Sukhumvit are genuinely slippery in the first minutes of a shower. Pull under a canopy and wait it out; the rain usually stops before you would have dried off.
Fuel: Sukhumvit is lined with proper PTT and Bangchak stations, so the highway is easy. The coastal road and Bang Saray itself have fewer — fill up on Sukhumvit before turning off, and do not rely on bottle sellers for a long ride. We hand the bike over fuelled and ask for it back the same way.
Checkpoints on this stretch are less about tourists and more routine: they appear on Sukhumvit near the Sattahip approaches and around the Nong Nooch junction. Because you are on a highway rather than a city street, expect the check to be brisk and by the book — helmet and licence.
We do not require a driving licence to rent; your passport is enough. But under Thai law you may only ride with a category A or A1 licence, Thai or international, and that is exactly what is checked here. The fine for no licence is 500–1 000 ฿, for no helmet 500 ฿, and it is the rider who pays. Two helmets come with every bike. Delivery runs from our Pratumnak office on Pattaya Park Rd. Within Pattaya we deliver in 30 to 90 minutes depending on the address and the workload; Na Jomtien is on the edge of that and Bang Saray is beyond the city limits, so please agree delivery there with the manager before booking — the price and the feasibility both depend on the exact address.
